쉬타후 라코디쉬 발루후 후

(아가서 2:8-13)

 

교회에는 교회력(Church Calendar)이 있다. 세상에서 쓰는 달력은 지구가 자전과 공전을 통해 만들어 내는 시간과 계절의 차이를 반영하여 만들었지만, 교회에서 쓰는 교회력은 삼위일체 하나님의 본질과 사역을 기억하고 찬양하기 위하여 만들었다.

The Church has a Church Calendar. The calendar used in the world reflects the difference in time and season that the earth produces through rotation and revolution, but the church Calendar was created to remember and praise the nature and ministry of the Triune God.

 

우리는 성부, 성자, 성령, 삼위일체 하나님을 믿는다. 교회의 교회력은 끊임없이 삼위일체 하나님을 기억하며, 삼위일체 하나님의 본질과 사역을 알아가며, 그 본질에 다가서서 그 사역에 동참하려 한다.

We believe in the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit, which is the Triune God. The church calendar constantly remember the Triune God, and know the essence and ministry of the Triune God to join in the Triune God's ministry.

 

오늘은 창조절 첫 번째 주일이다. 창조절은 창조주 하나님을 기억하고, 하나님께서 만드는 이 지구와 온 우주를 돌아보는 절기이다. 교회는 예수 그리스도의 본질과 사역을 기억하고 찬양하는 절기를 중심으로, 성령을 기억하고 찬양하는 절기, 그리고 창조주 하나님(성부)를 기억하고 찬양하는 절기를 발전시켜 왔다.

Today is the first Sunday of the season of Creation. The season of Creation is a season to remember God the Creator and to look around this earth and all the universe that God makes. The church has developed a feast to remember and praise the Holy Spirit and to remember and praise the Creator God, focusing on the feast of remembering and praising the essence and ministry of Jesus Christ.

 

절기는 단순히 성자가 누구인지, 성령이 누구인지, 성부가 누구인지에만 초점을 맞추는 시간이 아니다. 우리는 삼위일체 하나님에 대하여 ‘그분이 누구인지’를 질문하면서 동시에, 우리 인간은 누구인지를 묻는다.

The season is not just a focus on who the Son is, who the Holy Spirit is, who the Father is. We throw a question about the Triune God and who we are at the same time.

 

우리가 하나님과 우리 자신에 대하여 동시에 묻는 이유는 우리의 존재는 하나님이 누구인지를 온전히 알 때 완성되고, 우리의 존재 완성이 하나님의 구원의 목적이기 때문이다. 그래서 유대교에서 랍비의 가르침은 인간을 가리켜 ‘쉬타후 라코디쉬 발루후 후’라고 부른다. 이는 ‘하나님과 함께 창조과업을 이루는 사람’이란 의미이다.

The reason we ask about God and ourselves at the same time is that our existence is completed when we fully know who God is and our perfection is the purpose of God's salvation. So the rabbinical teaching in Judaism refers to the human being as 'shitahu lakodish baluhu hu '. It means 'a person who works with God in the work of creation'

 

우리는 오늘, ‘Song of Songs 또는 Song of Solomon’이라 불리는, 아름다운 노래를 함께 읽었다. 이 노래에는 연인의 사랑, 그 사랑이 뿜어 내는 아름다움, 그리고, 그 아름다움과 지극히 잘 어울리는 자연의 향기로움이 담겨 있다. 사랑은 사람과 사람을 이어주고 그 아름다움을 드러내 주기만 한 것이 아니라, 사랑은 사람과 자연을 연결시켜 주며, 온 세상이 온통 아름다움으로 가득 차 있을 깨닫게 하고 보이게 해 준다. 한 마디로 사랑은 우리의 영안(마음의 눈)을 활짝 열어 준다.

Today we read a beautiful song called 'Song of Songs or Song of Solomon'. This song contains the love of the lover, the beauty of the love, and the fragrance of the nature that goes well with its beauty. Love is not just to connect people and reveal their beauty, but to connect people with nature and to make us realize that the whole world is full of beauty. In a word, love opens the eyes of our spirit (eyes of the heart) wide.

 

요즘 들어 세계 교회는 창조절의 중요성을 점점 더 강조하고 있다. 하나님께서 우리에게 주신, 우리의 어머니 지구가 그 생명력을 점점 잃어가고 있기 때문이다. 엄마가 병약하거나 죽으면 어린 자식들이 살아남기 힘들 듯, 어머니 지구가 생명력을 잃어가면서 지구 이에 사는 모든 생명체의 생명이 심각한 위협을 받고 있다.

Nowadays the world church is increasingly emphasizing the importance of the season of the Creation. It is because our Mother Earth, which God has given us, is gradually losing its vitality. The life of every living creature in the earth is seriously threatened by the loss of the mother earth's vitality, as it is difficult for young children to survive when their mothers are dying.

 

얼마 전 모 언론사를 통해 ‘북극 최후의 빙하가 무너졌다’라는 제목의 뉴스가 있었다. 그린랜드 북쪽 지역 그리고 캐나다 북쪽 지역, 대륙하고 맞닿아 있는 지역에서는 대륙이 차갑기 때문에 빙하가 잘 녹지 않는데, 그 지역의 빙하마저 녹았다는 것이다. 이곳의 빙하는 2만 년 전 마지막 빙하기가 있었을 때 형성된 빙하이고, 여름 절기 동안 한 번도 녹은 적이 없는데, 이곳의 빙하가 녹았다는 것이다.

Not long ago, there was news in the media, titled 'The Arctic' s Last Glacier Has Fallen '. In northern Greenland and northern Canada, where the continent is in contact, the continents are cold, so the glaciers do not melt well, and the glaciers in the area have melted. The glacier here is a glacier that was formed 20,000 years ago when it was the last Ice Age and never melted during the summer season, and the glacier here has started to be melted.

 

지금 세상은 두 가지 문제로 고통 받고 있다. 하나는 불평등(일부 소수의 사람들만 제외하고 나머지 사람들은 먹고 사는 문제에 큰 어려움을 겪는 것)의 문제이고 다른 하나는 지구온난화의 문제이다. 이것을 그림 언어로 표현해 보면 이런 것이다. 엄마의 자궁 속에 있는 태아가 영양공급을 제대로 받지 못해서 생명에 위협을 받고 있는 것(불평등)과 동시에 엄마가 병약해져서 엄마가 죽어 가고 있는 것이다.

Now the world is suffering from two problems. One is the problem of inequality (with the exception of a handful of people and the rest of us eating and living) and the other is global warming. It can be described this way. The fetus in the mother 's uterus is threatened with life because it does not receive nutrition properly (Inequality), and at the same time the mother is dying because the mother is getting weak(Global Warming.

 

이런 세상 속에서, 우리는 창조주 하나님께서는 어떠한 일을 하고 계실지, 그리고 우리는 창조주 하나님과 더불어 어떤 일들을 해야 할 것인지를 생각하지 않을 수 없다. 그래서 우리는 우리 자신이 누구인지에 대한 자각을 반드시 가져야 한다. 우리는 ‘쉬타후 라코디쉬 발루후 후('shitahu lakodish baluhu hu)’이다. 우리는 ‘하나님과 함께 창조과업을 이루는 사람’이다.

In this world, we can not help but think what God the Creator is doing, and what we should do with God the Creator. So we must have an awareness of who we are. We are 'shitahu lakodish baluhu hu'. We are 'those who work with God in the work of creation'.

 

세상은 지금 하나님의 창조와 그 창조 과업을 함께 이루는 사람으로서의 정체성을 무시한 대가로 죽음의 문화, 억압의 문화, 지배의 문화 속에서 고통 당하고 있다. 아름다움을 훼손하는 일은 악마나 하는 짓이다. 악마가 아름다운 것을 훼손하는 이유는, 악마는 사랑을 모르고, 사랑할 줄 모르기 때문이다.

The world is now suffering from the culture of death, the culture of oppression, and the culture of domination in exchange for neglecting to know the identity of God as the creator and know who we are as 'those who work with God in the work of creation'. To undermine beauty is the evil thing. The reason the devil damages the beautiful is because the devil does not know love or is not able to love.

 

‘하나님’이라는 단어가 한 번도 나오지 않는 아가서가 성경에 들어 있는 이유는, 아가서에서 노래하고 있는 연인의 사랑과 아름다움이 곧 하나님과 사람(피조물) 사이에 있어야할 사랑과 아름다움을 그림언어로 보여주기 때문이다.

The Song of Songs, which never has the word "God", is contained in the Bible, because the love and beauty of the lover singing in Song of Songs is the metaphor of love and beauty that must be between God and human.

 

다른 말로 표현해서, 지금 이렇게 인간이 자연을 마구 훼손하면서 지구온난화를 초래하고 고통당하는 이유는 결국 인간이 사랑의 능력을 상실했기 때문이다. 사랑이 없으면, 상대방은 파괴와 훼손, 착취의 대상으로 밖에 보이지 않을 뿐이다. 사랑이 없으니, 세상의 아름다움은 점점 훼손되고 파괴되어, 점점 껍데기만 남게 되는 것이다.

In other words, the reason why human beings now damage the nature and cause global warming and suffering because humans have lost the power of love in the end. Without love, the other is only seen as an object of destruction, and exploitation. Because there is no love, the beauty of the world is getting destroyed, and only the shell remains.

 

사랑이 생명을 살린다. 사랑은 생명 속에 들어 있는 아름다움을 발견하게 한다. 사랑을 통해 아름다움을 발견하게 되면 생명은 그것을 향유하며 지키게 되지, 파괴하거나 훼손하지 않는다.

Love saves lives. Love makes you discover the beauty in life. When we discover beauty through love, life does not destroy or damages it, but does enjoy and keep it.

 

우리는 누구인가? ‘쉬타후 라코디쉬 발루후 후’, ‘하나님과 함께 창조과업을 이루는 사람’인가? 아니면, 사랑을 모르고, 사랑할 줄 몰라, 아름다움을 발견하지 못해 파괴와 훼손을 일삼는 악마의 친구인가? 악마(같은 사람)은 파괴와 훼손, 그리고 착취를 통해 죽음의 문화, 억압의 문화, 지배의 문화를 만들어내어 생명체에게 고통을 가하지만, ‘하나님과 함께 창조과업을 이루는’ 거룩한 사람은 사랑을 통해 생명체(피조물)에서 아름다움을 발견하고 그 생명을 더 풍성하게 하기 위하여 자기 자신을 내어 놓는다.

Who are we? Are we 'shitahu Lakodish Baluhu hu'? 'Is the man who works with God in His Creation'? Or a friend of the devil who does not know love, is not able to love, so cannot find beauty, and destroys it? The devil creates the culture of death, the culture of oppression, and the culture of domination through destruction, and exploitation, and causes suffering to life, but the holy human being, who works with God in His Creation, finds beauty in life (creature) and gives oneself out to enrich the life.

 

우리는 십자가 위에서 쏟으신 그 거룩한 사랑으로 인하여 구원 받은 새로운 피조물이요, 거룩한 하나님의 백성이다. 우리가 그것을 고백하고 믿는 그리스도인이라면, 우리는 계속하여 ‘하나님과 함께 창조과업’을 이루기 위하여 무엇을 해야 할 지 기도하고 고민하여 하나님의 자비하심을 간구하는 사랑이 흘러 넘치는 아름다운 존재가 되어야 할 것이다. 주님이 주신 사랑의 능력으로 상대방의 아름다움과 자연의 아름다움을 끊임없이 발견하여 그 생명을 더 풍성케 하는 주님의 거룩한 자녀가 되기를 소망한다.

We are a new creation saved by the holy love poured out on the cross, and God's holy people. If we are Christians who confess it and believe in it, we must be a beautiful, full of love, praying for God's mercy, praying and thinking about what to do in order to achieve 'the work of creation with God.' I hope we try to be a holy child of the Lord who constantly finds out the beauty of our neighbors and nature with the power of the Lord's love and enrich the life.
